 2.   What questions do you have that haven't been answered about the senior project? This can be about the senior project in general, any components or about a presentation topic you saw or what they said.

  •  Are we allowed to have more than one mentor?
  • How do I form my essential question?
  • Can two or more people have the same topic?
  •  Can we change our topic throughout the year?

 3. What has the most important part of the senior project based on what you are seeing in the 2-hour presentations?

Based on what I seen, mentorship gives you firsthand  experience of a real work place. Giving you an insight of what it takes to be in that profession. I believe having a firsthand experience is more valuable than any other resources. I also believe being passionate about your topic is very important because it will help you  focus and motivate you thorugout the whole year. A topic you are passionate about will help you to work harder, as the topic you chose makes the work more intresting and intriguing.

4. What topic are you considering doing and why?

I am considering on doing my senior project on pediatric oncology. The reason why I chose the this topic is because I'm considering this as my future occupation. I believe by working with a mentor in oncology will allow me to see from a first hand perspective what does it take to be in this profession.

5. What are you doing for your summer mentorship?

At this moment I'm not sure where I will be doing my mentorship at, because I've missed the deadlines to apply for pediatric oncologists summer programs.
